So MSC is going to be beta testing ComicReef. Which is cool. Actually, all of the comics are going to be switched over to ComicReef after the next update. If you prefer ComicCMS, email me.

If you decide to update, you might notice something different about your page. It's been de-retarded, and now functions less like a fussing toddler and more like a comic should. What's different? On the index page, the next and last buttons no longer appear. They were useless there anyways. Also, clicking the last button will now take you back to the index.

And for those who want it, email me about removing the copyright text at the bottom of your page.

Four weeks is a long time to not update.  While part of it's due to my aforementioned contributions to Off Hours, which you'll see here in a couple weeks, another wrench in the cogs popped up in the form of getting my PS3 back.  Turns out, Fallout 3 creates a biological necessity in a man.  Anyway, here's to hoping I can get back into my regular routine of radness.

Wow. This is, what, the second time I've rebooted Darkside? Some comics just don't die. Anyway, I've got this new pic to promote the NEW New Darkside. This one'll be much better, because now I actually know what I want to do with it. So be on "teh" lookout.

The iPad, and anime

As AJ has just pointed out, Apple just unveiled their new iPad... thing.  His reactions were, obviously, before the thing was announced, and now, let me share with you the typical reaction I seem to be getting post-announcement: boo.

To elaborate, this isn't a mass-market attempt at the wet dream webcomic artists like myself share.  In fact, from what I've gathered, it isn't even a fully-functional touchscreen computer.  It's just... a really big iPod.  I could see myself being more excited for it if I were, say, 30 feet tall.

Anyway, Punk-Pink! updates will be nonexistent for this week, and quite possibly in the same situation next week, since I've been busy lately preparing for Ohayocon, as well as a couple guest pages for Due East's Off Hours.  But as far as I can see after that, my schedule will be open, and I'll be ready to toss together not just more pages, but a few neat little extras as well.

The site seems to be running well enough. Comics update occasionally, people sometimes post in the forums, which is about as much as you can expect from a website that's a year old and has just lost the "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" title, and now sports a "locked and loaded" subtitle. Which is pretty kickass. I'm checking out the Apple Tablet announcement, which apparently is the biggest thing since Jesus, and may very well "break" Twitter. Whatever it is, I WANT IT.

Hey all, the ever infamous Bocaj here.  Just wanted to say that Pancakes is slowly but surely getting updates on this site.  Hopefully in the near future it'll be up to date.

Got the news CMS working, and it totally works without deleting Comic CMS. Kick ass. All the users with comics (sorry Derk) will receive an email with their account information and instructions on how to add news. This means that not all your news needs to go into the forum, since having to find the comic's thread can be annoying enough. It also means I won't be the only one talking to you for once!
